Nowadays Business

On this day, based on common life style, people generally need more necessary. Everything they have looks still not enough for them. Technology, style, and social status make many people trying to get what they want. The only way to reach it is working hard. And one of the choices is running the business.

In this century, particularly for the last decade, the competition in all field is more difficult and tricky because people’s awareness to improve their quality is getting better. It also works in business competition. 

The business in the future will be more competitive and variant. The trend of business today is described by development of high technology. There are many products look similar to the others. With a little improvisation and the power of technology, a new challenger will challenge “the old master” to get customers and defeat them if the old ones don’t want to change up.

The people who can make the innovation and use the technology well will be a winner in the business competition beside of keeping the quality of product. The improvement of user technology and the ease to access internet will give the good opportunity to the entrepreneurs to establish and develop their business. Most of companies now have utilized technology as their main tools to advertise their product. 

Accidently, my side job currently is helping my father business in culinary which is named GUBUG DJOGJA. Gubug Djogja is the one and only place which serves the delicious Gudeg, the traditional food of Yogyakarta, in Makassar right now. You should come and taste our food there.

And the second is I tried to establish a new business with my bestfriend –Iccank- and we named it as ICIP-ICIP which has the meaning of taste or eat a bit. This business was planned in the end of march but exactly just started in the early of July 2017. Talking about the concept, ICIP-ICIP is in the same field with Gubug Djogja, in culinary. But the difference is that ICIP-ICIP serves the nice desserts while Gubug Djogja serves the main core. But the both are so nice and delicious surely.

I have learned some conditions how to run the business in this digital era, and the point I got is we really need to utilize the technology and keep creating innovation into the product with creative mindset. Using and utilizing social media as our first tool to commerce our product are the best ways. 

Being an entrepreneur is not easy. Many opinions say that an entrepreneur must be a rich person and doesn’t need to work hard. But in reality, running the business is not easy as people say. There are so many things to think before we started such as identifying our passion, observing the market, and deciding the product. And the most important thing to have if people want to be an entrepreneur is the spirit. The spirit to never give up, the spirit to raise up when we loss out and the spirit to keep the consistence alive.

With this article, I just want to share about nowadays business in my opinion and as what I know. I am not a success entrepreneur yet, I am just a beginner and just started to run business for a few months. But I have a big hope to the people especially to all youth who have still good spirit and productive time to established and run the new business like me. Because believe or not, you will get many advantages if you make yourself brave to take challenge to establish the business.  

Lastly, I will quote Bob Sadino’s words about business. Bob Sadino is one of the successful entrepreneurs in Indonesia. He said that “The best Business is The Business which is run”.
